How did this month go by so quickly? I cannot believe it’s the end of March already.Thankfully,I made an early start with my Easter Illustrations during mid-March so that I can have them complete just in time for my shop. And there is a little surprise in my upcoming posts all for you my lovely readers. I can’t wait to show you what it is soon!
Here is a sneak peak and work in progress of the illustrations I am making.Â
I hope you like it 🙂
Â
Â
As always I start my illustrations with a rough draft and mark the color scheme I would like to go with.(yea a bit crazy that way lol) . Once I’m all happy with the draft, I go on to the next step.
Â
I do my neat illustration with pencil and then start inking slowly with my Micron pens. I just love these pens. They are so precise and it is bleed-free and dries quick. The above photo is where the inking is in progress which I hope to finish soon.
Â
Â
Above is a comparison photo of my rough and neat illustrations. I don’t use a sketchbook for doing these and I prefer using normal printer paper for the drafts. The next step after the inking is over will be tracing it on my Stonehenge paper ready to be filled in with beautiful colors.
Â
And now I need to get back to working on the illustrations before the tiny one is up 😉 If you would love to check my shop out I would be thrilled. Click on shop in the tabs above to have a look.
I hope you liked these and I will be back with more work in progress in my next post.
Cheers until next time lovelies!

I’m not a very good artist at all, so I admire the work of those that are. I love micron pens for scrapbooking. Will you be adding color to this piece?
