If you remember, a while ago I had started an art trade with a friend whom I got to know over Instagram. I’ve finally got it done and phew getting all those tiny details in such a small scale was a bit difficult. But I love doing detailed drawings and I had a ball while doing this. I can’t wait to to send it and receive my share of artwork in return. You can see my work in progress by clicking the link below
SPRING THEMED ART TRADE WORK IN PROGRESS

The scale is quite tiny and measures about 2.5″x 3.5″ and it can fit the palm of my hand. These are called ATCs and they are exchanged in return for another artwork of the same size. A lot of fun isn’t it? Collecting artworks from other artists. This sure is not going to be my last art trade.

What a neat idea. I do love how tiny it is. Reminds me of some little pictures I had in my room as a little girl. You are so talented. 🙂
It’s lovely!
Beautiful work! And the trade is such a great idea! Truly lovely. 🙂

Thanks so much Kelly. I love doing trades. It’s a fun way to collect other artists’ works 🙂
Thanks kindly Steph! x
Thanks Meredith. Oh sweet. I’m so glad this brings you memories from your childhood 🙂
Zakkiya, you do such beautiful work and such a lovely little ATC card….what a thrill it would be to receive this…..
Oh! This is where you sell those artist calling cards? Miniature art? I’ve seen cards and canvases this small that people use. This is so wonderful! I wish I had talent with paint or pencils. I’d love to make one and share in a project like this. Yours is lovely!
Thank you so much dear Cathy! I’m so glad you like this. 🙂
ATC or artist trading cards are generally not sold but exchanged. But right now there are people who do sell such small cards. I guess it is a growing trend right now. I’m sure you have so many talents Lisa. But if you really love painting, maybe you should try. You never know 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by . x
You do such beautiful work!
Aw thanks kindly Lara! x
Thank you for sharing these. These are really cute! I’ll be adding one shortly.
Once again you’re so talented and it’s gorgeous.
So kind of you Jazmine. Thank you so much 🙂 x
Thanks kindly! Oh I would love to see them. Please do link your blog up so that I can go have a look 🙂 x
I just had to come back to this! I saw a book yesterday of stunning artist trading cards and I thought of you. You should absolutely see about getting one of your cards in a book!
Aw Lisa. Thank-you so much for visiting again. I really am not so confident when it comes to my art. I somehow feel I have so much more to do than this. Maybe I’m the hardest on myself. But I would love to know the name of the book so that I look for it 🙂 x
Thanks for sharing at the Say G’day party. I’ve just pinned your post to the Say G’Day Saturday Board. This is such a great resource-thank you!
Hope to see you again this weekend!
Best wishes,
Natasha in Oz
