This post probably comes scheduled to you as I travel to India for our mandatory family visit every year.I love this time of the year where I get to meet my cousins, my in laws and extended family. We try to make it in time for Eid and this year is no different.I really can’t wait to burst crackers with cousins and have a jolly good time there.
And as with every travel plan, comes the pre planning.Getting things in order, the house in shape and posts to be scheduled.I really wanted to bring out a tutorial for creating an Eid greeting card but time really was my enemy here. So, I settled for one of my previous wreath paintings and turned it into a free watercolor greeting card printable. You can check this floral wreath tutorial out if you’d like to learn how to make it.

Thank YOU so much for sticking around and helping in making this blog grow. Wishing you all a splendid Eid . Oh and don’t forget to show me what you make of it on Instagram or via email.Much love!
Eid Mubarak 🙂 I picked up watercolors last night to make a greeting card for Eid too, but because I’m still very bad at watercolors, I only ended up with some not-very-nice flowery impressions on paper. Watercolor is just so difficult to grasp! I love your purple card, it looks gorgeous with that envelope.
I hope you have a lovely time with your family!
Thank you Ayse. What paper did you use? Watercolors unfortunately don’t do well with paper of less gsm. I would suggest using at least 300 gsm paper and something that has a bit of tooth in it. You’re so talented, I’m sure you’ll get it right soon. You know the key to anything is practice, so keep at it and please do email me or get in touch with me for any queries you have in watercolors 🙂 Belated Eid Mubarak. have a lovely day!
How would you recommend printing this?
On white cardstock.
